New Year's Resolution
I've decided to take an unconventional approach to my New Year's Resolution this year. I started by Instagram off my phone and buying the domain arlenfan.com.
To-do list:
Learn and play Beethoven's Tempest Sonata 3rd mvt
Write and defend my dissertation proposal
Publish one journal or conference paper
250 lb squat for 1 rep
185 lb bench press for 3 reps
swim a sub minute 100 breast short course yards
Reading List: In addition to my weekly reading of the Economist, a magazine I have read since 2017, I would also like to read these books. This list was largely inspired by a rekindled interest in history after reading Henry Kissinger's book "World Order." I would like to note that I read an abridged version of The Count of Monte Cristo in the summer of 2010.
