February update
Back then I posted here my new year's resolution. It consisted of a reading list and a to-do list. About two months into the year, my aspirations and goals have changed. There are books that I don't want to read anymore, and items on the to-do list that seem either out of reach or subject to unforeseeable events. But I believe that posting here forces me to keep myself accountable; it is easy to renege on goals when you just "don't feel like it."
Back in 2017, I set the 200 yard breaststroke record (2:07.09) for the University of Rochester, where I obtained by undergraduate degree. Last weekend, it fell to a freshman.
Other than that, there isn't much to report. I also wanted to improve my Mandarin and Spanish, so I made it a soft goal. To achieve my Spanish goals, I started watching Money Heist with original audio. For Chinese, reading a few news articles online does the trick.
